Mohawk 4×4 Adventure’s Mission

“Our mission is to provide members adventures in their dual purpose street and trail ready 4×4 vehicles with confident leadership and qualified education. We believe education will help members be better advocates of safety, recovery and driving techniques that will promote best practices on public and private properties and trail networks.  Our club will work to maintain trails and trail access on public and private property with cooperation of landowners and managers.”

Our goal is to provide a variety of on and off road experiences in our multi-purpose, go anywhere vehicles.  We schedule day trips to scenic trails, challenging trails and a few weekends of camping and wheeling.  From overlanding to rock crawling.

2017 promises to be exciting, with loads of off-road adventure and an exciting Tech Day build series of our XJ Crawl Hauler Trailer project.

For our members that are new to off-road driving technique, we host several Sunday Drive trail runs.  Learn how to use your clutch in 4 low, steep hill descents without losing control, navigating your vehicle safely across water and rocks.  Winch, Hi-Lift and recovery demonstrations and practice are best done in a controlled environment, before an incident where it is required.
