“Mohawk 4×4 Adventures – 4WD Trails and Recreation. That’s what we provide to our club members.”

Mohawk 4×4 Adventures has been providing members with excitement and variety in off-road adventures since 2014.  Our club does day trips, camping trips with off road expeditions.

2025’s schedule for members will include 4WD Trails on rocks, in the woods and exciting weekends of camping and wheeling.   We will continue our very rich history of trail projects including building new trails, maintaining existing trails and cleanups.

If you’re new to recreational off-road driving, our club welcomes new members and provides exceptional educational experiences right on the trail.  Our expert members help the newer members get all the creative recreation they can from their 4WD vehicles.

M4X4AVTXPD2015 – Club members are starting to line up and head out.

Mohawk 4×4 Adventures is based in north central Massachusetts, and has members from all over New England and the Northeast.

Project: neXt-J climbing a rock in southern Massachusetts on private property, which is accessed by the club’s membership in The Northeast Association of 4wd Clubs.

This club is a proud member of the Northeast Association of 4WD Clubs, Inc. The association has over 30 clubs, working together to open new trail opportunities and protect public right of ways.  On December 19th, 2024, the NEA4WD closed on the putchse of its second property, called Carnage Hill, in Southern NH. Our first purchase closed in 2018 at Brookridge, located in North Central MA.  We are developing a large, 550 acre parcel in NH called Glass Mountain, the the association has a lease for.

Part of our club’s offerings are family friendly camping and wheeling events. This one our inaugural 2014 Camp ‘n’ Wheel kick off event, and it was deliciously catered by Seth Silverman of The Ugly Omelet out of the back of his Rubicon JKU. Seth and his crew at both his restaurants have been wonderfully supportive with meeting hosting and food since the club was founded in 2014.
This photo is from our Inaugural Camp ‘n’ Wheel in 2014 on an ancient road leading to our trail destination. The group has paused to air down our tires to decrease impact and increase our traction and control of our vehicles.

Mohawk 4×4 Adventures is very exicted to be a Member Club in TREAD Lightly! and several members have chosen to become individual members, and receive 50% off or heavily discounted dues in TREAD Lightly! (For $50/year, you can buy a new Jeep with your membership for 1% over invoice. There’s a lot of savings for members supporting continued trail access through TREAD Lightly!) This top tier organization has also directly helped our club do a substantial cleanup in Western MA at a legacy trail.
